Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Fizztap Games ("we", "our", or "us") operates mobile applications including Block Fizz. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Information We Collect

Information we do NOT collect:

Information stored only on your device:

Information stored on our servers (leaderboards):

Block Fizz includes online leaderboards: a weekly league, a global board, a daily challenge board, and a Hall of Fame. To take part, the app creates an anonymous player ID for you (a random identifier issued by Google Firebase Authentication). No account, email, or personal details are required, and the ID is not linked to your identity. Together with that ID we store:

Your nickname, tier, scores, and placings are visible to other players in the app's leaderboards. Nothing else listed above is shown to other players.

Information collected automatically:

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling beyond what our ad partner does under its own policy.

3. Third-Party Services

Our games use the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

4. Advertising

Our games display ads served by Google AdMob. You may see personalized ads based on your interests, or non-personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings:

5. Children's Privacy

Our games are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (for example as a nickname), please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Leaderboard data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) in the asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region and is encrypted in transit and at rest. All writes go through our server-side functions; the app itself can only read leaderboard data.

We keep leaderboard data only as long as it is needed:

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

Deleting your data

In the app: open Settings > Profile > Delete leaderboard data and confirm. This immediately and permanently removes everything our servers hold about you — your anonymous player ID, nickname, scores, league placings, league history and career statistics — and deletes the anonymous account itself, so the old ID can never be linked to you again. Hall of Fame entries you won are kept as an anonymised record ("Deleted player"). Your local progress (best score, statistics, trophies, streak) stays on your device; your next game joins the leaderboards as a new player with a new nickname.

Without the app (for example if you have already uninstalled it): email hello@fizztap.games with the nickname you used and, if you can, roughly when you last played. Because player IDs are anonymous we may need to ask a question or two to find the right record. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or portability) under local law. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated revision date.
